My name is Cecilia Elena Tilli. I’ve been working with science and scientific research in different ways: as a PhD student, as a business developer for science-based start-ups and as a grant-maker for research projects. Over time, I have become more and more interested in the scientific research system in itself as something that is both extremely valuable and highly imperfect.
In July 2021 I was granted support from the EA Infrastructure Fund to explore career- and project opportunities aiming to improve the scientific research system. That project is concluded and my posts here sporadic but I still (2023) have an active interest in the field.
